Q. IN A FEW WORDS, SHARE WITH FUTURE NEWLYWEDS SOME MARRIAGE WISDOM?

Q. HOW DID YOU GUYS MEET?
A. Our mutual friend, Caroline Baro thought we’d be a great match. I contacted Ellen on Myspace (LOL, Facebook wasn’t quite popular yet). Three weeks later we went on our first date and saw each other every single day after that.
Q. HOW LONG DID YOU DATE BEFORE YOU GOT ENGAGED AND HOW LONG WERE YOU ENGAGED FOR?
A. We got engaged after exactly three years of dating and our engagement was one year, but we knew we were meant to be together after just a few months.
Q. WHAT WAS THE STORY OF THE PROPOSAL?
A. We celebrated our 3-year anniversary on a Caribbean Cruise. On November 18, 2009, we spent the day at St. Maarten. I was trying to find the perfect proposal spot, but coincidentally, we were near a nude beach. Killed the romance! After a long beautiful day on the island, I asked Ellen to be my wife at the top deck of the ship, in the middle of the ocean beneath a million stars.
Q. WHAT ARE SOME OF YOUR FAVORITE MEMORIES FROM YOUR WEDDING DAY?
A 1) Our kiss at the altar BEFORE we were pronounced husband and wife (thanks to our funny priest). 2) Our first dance, which was literally our first dance…EVER. 3) Our wedding night.
