Ashley and Logan’s expressive  love for each other can be seen to the core in their Feature Film of their Wedding Day!  Everything about their wedding speaks volumes, all the way from the quaint location for their nuptials at the St. James Church, to the quintessential Portofino Hotel & Yacht Club, and then just letting go and rocking on the dance floor with all their family and friends (which is ironic, as this is where they first MET each other, on the dance floor)!!!  We enjoyed being able to share their special day with them and wish them a long and happy love together!!!

Q + A WITH ASHLEY AND LOGAN

Q. HOW DID YOU GUYS MEET?
A. We met at the Underground in Hermosa Beach. I was dancing with a group of friends and he came up to me on the dance floor and started talking. We would both say there was a connection. We had our first date a week later.

Q. HOW LONG DID YOU DATE BEFORE YOU GOT ENGAGED AND HOW LONG WERE YOU ENGAGED FOR?
A. We dated for 6 years before we got engaged. We were engaged for 13 months

Q. WHAT WAS THE STORY OF THE PROPOSAL?
A. We were on a Baltic Sea cruise somewhere in between Russia and Estonia on the cruise. After dinner he asked if we could for a walk. Another couple was in on it, Ashley and Gavin Witzer. We were all on the top deck and they suddenly had to go to the restroom and there Logan got down on one knee and proposed. The box lit up and all I could see was the ring. It was beautiful. Windy and cold night but definitely enjoyed every minute. It all made sense why he barely ate dinner and had sweaty palms that night — haha so not Logan at all.

Q. WHAT’S YOUR FAVORITE THING ABOUT BEING MARRIED?
A. I have a partner in the kitchen — haha — Logan is now cooking with me. We do a lot more together!!

Q. WHAT ARE SOME OF YOUR FAVORITE MEMORIES FROM YOUR WEDDING DAY?
A. Every part of it was amazing. We had a blast at the reception. The dance floor was packed until the last song of the night!!

Q. WHY DID YOU CHOOSE TO HIRE A VIDEOGRAPHER?
A. To be able to go back and relive your wedding day is absolutely priceless.

Q. WHAT ONE DETAIL ARE YOU GLAD THE VIDEOGRAPHER CAPTURED?
A. Our vows!! Hearing each other say “I do” brought me to tears watching it for the first time after our wedding day.

Q. WHAT PIECE OF ADVICE WOULD YOU TELL A COUPLE PLANNING THEIR WEDDING?
A. Remember why you are getting married. It’s easy to get lost in the details and let the little things create arguments. Everything will turn out great so just simply enjoy each other along the way.

A. The two “met” each other on a lifestyle blog (nwso.net); both were frequent commenter’s. After several months of correspondences, the two finally met in person and they’ve been inseparable ever since!

Q. HOW LONG DID YOU DATE BEFORE YOU GOT ENGAGED AND HOW LONG WERE YOU ENGAGED FOR? 
A. Technically, we didn’t date; we Skyped:)Tron moved to Los Angeles once we got engaged, and married one year later.

Q. WHAT WAS THE STORY OF THE PROPOSAL? 
A. Shaquá went to New Orleans Father’s Day weekend to meet Tron’s parents for the first time.

Q. WHAT’S YOUR FAVORITE THING ABOUT BEING MARRIED? 
A. Being together everyday.

Q. WHAT ARE SOME OF YOUR FAVORITE MEMORIES FROM YOUR WEDDING DAY? 
A. Saying our vows to each other.

A. Hire a planner! At the very least, hire a day of coordinator.

A. For us, it was finding a New Orleans second line band in Los Angeles.

Zahraa and Chris are just straight up cool! They know who they are and they love each other for it! They are a shining example just do what ever you want to do at a wedding. If you don’t believe us, take a look at Zahraa amazing Belly Dance / Angel Wings dance in their Feature Film! WOW!! Zahraa rocks!! The only thing I think that is a little better then Zahraa’s dance, is Chris’s expression during her dance. If that’s not a perfect example of a perma-grin, well then I do not know what is! Check him out! Can you blame the man? We have really enjoyed getting to know Chris and Zahraa through filming their e.Session and the honor of being at such a beautiful wedding! The process all the way from their initial meeting, to filming their e.Session to planning every detail of their wedding day, we have loved it! Introducing Zahraa and Chris!!

Q. HOW DID YOU GUYS MEET?
A. We worked together at a restaurant in Florida

Q. HOW LONG DID YOU DATE BEFORE YOU GOT ENGAGED AND HOW LONG WERE YOU ENGAGED FOR?
A. We dated for 2 years and were engaged for 1 year

Q. WHAT WAS THE STORY OF THE PROPOSAL?
A. He had a card custom made with a Poem his mom found for him and  he went to a grocery store and hid the card between all the other cards. That night we went grocery shopping and he asked me to help him pick out a card for his mom’s birthday. After a few that he read he chose one and asked me to read it and tell him what I think. I read it and said “this is not a card for a mom’s birthday this is a Love poem,” and he said, “I know it’s for you, and he bent down on one knee and proposed, and I said “YES!”  We ditched our grocery cart and went out to a nice dinner together!

Q. WHAT’S YOUR FAVORITE THING ABOUT BEING MARRIED?
A. Being able to feel 100% safe, comfortable, loved, and cared for

Q. WHAT’S THE FUNNIEST THING ABOUT BEING MARRIED?
A. Sex is not as frequent and I thought that was just in people’s heads lmao! What I think it is once we got married we worked so hard to pay for the wedding bills we tired ourselves out too much.  Hahaha!

Q. WHAT ARE SOME OF YOUR FAVORITE MEMORIES FROM YOUR WEDDING DAY?
A. The wine in a box was a beautiful part of the ceremony. The funnest part was the Bellydance!

Q. WHY DID YOU CHOOSE TO HIRE A VIDEOGRAPHER?
A. Videography and photography is the MOST important part of a wedding so that you will always be able to relive that beautiful memories and feelings

Q. WHAT IS ONE THING YOU’D TELL A COUPLE TO MAKE SURE THEY CAPTURE ON VIDEO?
A. Definitely capture each other in your natural state and your natural personality. I think that is the most beautiful and sincere parts of photos and videos

Q. WHAT ONE DETAIL ARE YOU GLAD THE VIDEOGRAPHER CAPTURED?
A. I am very happy my videographer captured our moments of falling in love every time we got excited as we looked at each other. I remember that they captured a text message Chris sent to me as I was getting ready and he called me beautiful and I smiled and got all excited like I do when he sends me sweet messages and they caught that on video and on camera…very IMPRESSIVE:)

Q. WHAT IS THE BEST PART OF BEING A NEWLYWED?
A. Being able to tell everyone that you’re newlyweds and being able to giggle about it with each other when we are still in disbelief

Q. WHAT PIECE OF ADVICE WOULD YOU TELL A COUPLE PLANNING THEIR WEDDING?
A. Plan EARLY!!! the earlier the better, and the details matter most. Have FUN planning don’t be stressed at all its not a stressful process it should be a fun and exciting one

A. Finding the right venue. This sets the whole tone of your wedding, your guest list, your flowers, your dress, EVERYTHING

Lisa and Stefan are the prefect example of the “storybook” romance with a dash of “classic” nuptials!!!  We absolutely LOVE Rancho Las Lomas! What a cool venue!  So unique in so many ways. Loved the tigers too! We got to work along side the very talented wedding coordinator Kevin Covey. He and his team did a wonderful job with all the decor and made for a very smooth day! Everything for their wedding was just perfect and were so honored to be part of their amazing day. Q. WHAT PIECE OF ADVICE WOULD YOU TELL A COUPLE PLANNING THEIR WEDDING?
A. Hire a great videographer, photographer, and don’t spend too much on a cake!

Q. HOW DID YOU GUYS MEET?
A. Here it is – straight from our wedding website!: It was Lisa’s first day at her new job in March 2007 when she first met Stefan Khudic. “Watch out…just have chocolate on hand for him and you’ll be fine,” she is told. Moments later she hears a rolling briefcase clank over the elevator track, a sound she’ll come to eagerly anticipate each morning. In glides Stefan, cell phone in use, and a stack of folders in arm. He takes a second look at the new girl and continues on his way, realizing that coming to work would now be a different experience. Over the next year, Stefan seemed to frequently need a pen, a highlighter, a stapler, or post-its, which Lisa could always be counted on for. She couldn’t understand why he had this reputation of being demanding and impatient – he was actually quite nice, polite, and always had a smile for her! Their “Hello’s” and “How are you’s” evolved into deeper conversations of life, family, struggles, and victories. Flash forward about a year – after a few attempts to get Lisa to have lunch with him (which she never seemed to have time for and wasn’t getting the hint), Stefan finally gave it one more try to see if she would see him outside of an office setting. She agreed! The two hit it off over sushi and dancing and were inseparable ever since. After almost two years, two new jobs, and two trips to Europe later, Stefan asked Lisa to be his wife. On a mountain in Mammoth during a Valentine’s Day ski trip, complete with chocolate and rose petals in the snow, Stefan’s perfectly planned proposal was accepted by Lisa with tears of happiness.

Q. WHAT WAS THE HARDEST PART ABOUT PLANNING A WEDDING?
A. The hardest part about planning a wedding is waiting for it to finally arrive and then still feeling a bit stressed about it! There are so many details, but it’s important to not lose sight of why you’re planning it and who you’re about to spend the rest of your life with.

Q. HOW LONG DID YOU DATE BEFORE YOU GOT ENGAGED AND HOW LONG WERE YOU ENGAGED FOR?
A. We dated for just shy of two years before getting engaged. We were then engaged for 14 months before getting married.

Q. WHAT’S YOUR FAVORITE THING ABOUT BEING MARRIED?
A. Our favorite thing about being married is always having our best friend to come home to everyday. There’s always a sense of calmness and belonging that we have, even when we’re apart. Knowing that we’ve found our soulmates is truly the most satisfying feeling. It may sound cliche, but we feel so blessed to have found true love.

Q. WHAT’S THE FUNNIEST THING ABOUT BEING MARRIED?
A. We’ve noticed that one of the funniest things about being married is that we actually feel very different than just being engaged. We didn’t expect it to be like that, but we’re very aware of it and feel more protective of each other.

Q. WHAT ARE SOME OF YOUR FAVORITE MEMORIES FROM YOUR WEDDING DAY?
A. We think that our entire day was truly perfect, but seeing our nephews and niece come down the aisle together was just amazing.

Q. WHY DID YOU CHOOSE TO HIRE A VIDEOGRAPHER?
A. We chose to hire a videographer to be able to capture the most important day of our lives in real time. It was one of the best planning decisions we made. With a video, you’re able to memorialize actions, words, tears, surprises and the true feeling of the day.

Q. WHAT IS ONE THING YOU’D TELL A COUPLE TO MAKE SURE THEY CAPTURE ON VIDEO?
A. There are too many to pick just one! But the ceremony is probably one of the most important moments that really goes by so fast.

Q. WHAT ONE DETAIL ARE YOU GLAD THE VIDEOGRAPHER CAPTURED?
A. I’m glad that they captured the guys getting ready since I wasn’t able to see that part and we are also glad that they was able to get footage of the entire venue and a cool shot of our rings.

Q. WHAT IS THE BEST PART OF BEING A NEWLYWED?
A. The best part about being a newlywed is having the love of your life as close to you as possible. It’s also pretty cool to have other acknowledge you as a couple, as one family. It’s pretty cool.

Q. IN A FEW WORDS, SHARE WITH FUTURE NEWLYWEDS SOME MARRIAGE WISDOM?
A. Be patient, kind, courteous, loving and selfless. And don’t forget to keep “dating!”

Planning Elegance - Their story of how they met is incredibly sweet and wonderful. They truly are the storybook love story couple. You guys did amazing on the video and captured some of the best moments possible.

Well, here is their Feature Film, rich with love, the most amazing colors, crazy dancers, commitment and passion. I feel like a broken record when I say that it’s such an honor to be part of some of the most amazing moments in people lives. Q. WHAT PIECE OF ADVICE WOULD YOU TELL A COUPLE PLANNING THEIR WEDDING?
A. Start planning early, plan for unexpected expenses, and remember that the venue sets the tone and mood of your wedding.

Q. HOW DID YOU GUYS MEET?
A. We met in our high school chemistry class. The big joke is we had chemistry since the moment we met. LOL

Q. HOW LONG DID YOU DATE BEFORE YOU GOT ENGAGED AND HOW LONG WERE YOU ENGAGED FOR?
A. We dated for eight and a half years before we got engaged, and we were engaged for a year and a half.

Q. WHAT WAS THE STORY OF THE PROPOSAL?
A. Behnam treated me to a full day adventure. He surprised me with a super awesome helicopter ride to Catalina where we had a romantic brunch. Then we flew back to Los Angeles for a luxurious couple’s massage. That evening, under the moonlight, Behnam proposed on a secluded stretch of our favorite beach.

Q. WHAT’S YOUR FAVORITE THING ABOUT BEING MARRIED?
A. Since the last four years of our relationship was long distance, our favorite thing about being married is not being apart.

Q. WHAT ARE SOME OF YOUR FAVORITE MEMORIES FROM YOUR WEDDING DAY?
A. There are too many to count! Not messing up on our first dance, being surrounded by friends and family, and dancing all night.

Q. WHY DID YOU CHOOSE TO HIRE A VIDEOGRAPHER?
A. We felt it was important to capture our wedding on film so that we could relive the memories and share them with our future children.
