Well, I now have no doubts in my mind that Fairytale weddings Exist! This past Friday, we had the incredible pleasure to get to film a true Fairytale wedding at the Beautiful Disneyland Hotel in Southern California. As the day began, Adriane told us her story why she wanted to get married at Disneyland ever since she was a little girl and it was a touching story yet it didn’t really hit me of how meaningful it was until I saw her coming down towards the ceremony site in Cinderella’s Carriage with a smile on her face soo big and bright it could light a city! That was the moment she was waiting for and we were so honored to be a part of it and capture it on film. We were all teary eyed!  Just hours later, there were were at her reception, reliving the moments while watching this powerful Same Day edit.. The staff at the hotel was amazing and we also got to shoot along side of Scott Land of Scott Land Photography.. Ask him about this camera throwing techniques.. WOW! Q. HOW LONG DID YOU DATE BEFORE YOU GOT ENGAGED AND HOW LONG WERE YOU ENGAGED FOR?
A. We were together for 10 Yrs before Vishu finally proposed to me On Xmas day 12-25-09 we were engaged for bout a yr and half before we finally tied the knot.

Q. WHAT WAS THE STORY OF THE PROPOSAL?
A. Vishal On Xmas eve waited for all my family to leave our house before he proposed. The only wittness was my little Nephew Joseph we kept him at my house cause his mom was going to the hospital to have a baby which happen to be born on Xmas day. Though the proposal wasn’t very novel, Joseph sure felt special bout being the only one to witness it. Vishu what a chicken waited fir my family to leave so he wouldn’t get embarrassed.

Q. WHAT’S YOUR FAVORITE THING ABOUT BEING MARRIED?
A. Now we can have/ make babies!!!!! Lol give our parents more grand kids.

Q. WHY DID YOU CHOOSE TO HIRE A VIDEOGRAPHER?
A. He had me at hello, no really I was drawn in by you expensive and unique business card. Once I checked your website I was sold by your quality and style of cinematography. Once I spoke to you Brian I was sold hook line and sinker you seemed like a sincere and fun person to work with.

Q. WHAT IS ONE THING YOU’D TELL A COUPLE TO MAKE SURE THEY CAPTURE ON VIDEO?
A. Facial expressions, body language, and reactions of the moments.

Q. WHAT ONE DETAIL ARE YOU GLAD THE VIDEOGRAPHER CAPTURED?
A. I really liked the shot of my ring bearer faking a drink of a shot that was really soda. But really it is a compilation of all yout amazing shots with real emotion and perfect music.

Q. WHAT IS THE BEST PART OF BEING A NEWLYWED?
A. All the congratulation salutations people keep wishing us.

A. Give yourself enough time to plan the wedding. Do not stress during the planning, every thing will fall into place at the end.

A. Planning the wedding for San Diego while living in Virginia and not hiring an event coordinator.

A. At a bar in Virginia during the summer

A. In the kitchen of Annie’s apartment after Brandon didn’t know how to work the coffee maker and had to get Annie up to help.

A. Waking up everyday to see the best thing that ever happened to you by your side

A. We get to be our true selves around each other and laugh non-stop

A. All the different outfit changes for each event, having all of our friends and family fly in for our special day, and most of all meeting our new families.

Q + A WITH CHRISTIANNE AND MICHAEL

Q. WHAT WAS THE HARDEST PART ABOUT PLANNING A WEDDING?
A. Working full-time and planning a wedding is the most tiresome and stressful thing to do! But we did it!!! My wife did the most awesome job putting her vision together for an awesome wedding that most of our guests are still complimenting!

Q. WHAT WAS THE STORY OF THE PROPOSAL?
A. On Valentine’s Day, Michael took Christianne to a Valentine’s dinner at Café Pinot in Downtown LA. It was a beautiful evening with clear skies and city lights, so they choose to be seated on the patio.  The ambience was perfect and the food was delicious.  Dinner was made even better when Michael presented Christianne with an engraved photo heart locket.  It was something that she has always wanted!  After dinner, he took her to the Gibson Amphitheater for a Valentine’s Day concert with Kenny G and Michael Bolton.  He was acting a little anxious in the car because they were running late which Christianne thought was quite strange because Michael never worries about being a little late to anything.  Christianne still did not suspect a thing because she thought that she had already received her Valentine’s Day gift…the heart locket. Michael and Christianne finally arrived at the Gibson to a very entertaining performance by Kenny G.  During intermission they decided to walk outside to watch the fireworks.  Michael then presented Christianne with a box in which he told her that this is just a little something for her to keep her new heart locket in.  She thought to herself …”Why is he telling me what’s inside before I have a chance to open it” but she just shrugged it off. She finally opened it to find a beautiful jewelry box that had “Christianne’s Culture” engraved on it. At first Christianne didn’t even open the jewelry box and was just admiring the engraving on the outside. It did not even cross her mind that there might be something inside the box especially since Michael had said this was for her to store her new locket and jewelry in.  But there it was….a beautiful shiny engagement ring!!! She was so stunned that she didn’t even realize that Michael was kneeling and proposing! Christianne just kept saying “No way…no way.”  Finally after a few minutes, she heard Michael said…”You’re saying No?!” and she quickly said “No…I mean Yes! Yes! Yes!!!”  And that was how they became engaged!!

Q. WHAT ARE SOME OF YOUR FAVORITE MEMORIES FROM YOUR WEDDING DAY?
A. EVERYTHING!!! Our wedding couldn’t of turned out better!!! Everything was just perfect! We love everything from our flowers, ceremony, reception, our 1st dance, our surprise group dance everything was terriffic!!

Q. WHY DID YOU CHOOSE TO HIRE A VIDEOGRAPHER?
A. We chose a to hire a videographer because we want to be able to see some of the moments of our wedding day over and over again. Also since we the stars of the show, we also want to see a different perspective of our beautiful wedding day!

Q. WHAT PIECE OF ADVICE WOULD YOU TELL A COUPLE PLANNING THEIR WEDDING?
A. Don’t fight! Endure the stress. Your wife has a vision and she knows what she wants.

Happy Wednesday to you all! We had a wonderful time hanging out with Julie and Michael this past Saturday. It was really cool hearing the story of how these two love birds met in the Military. We never get tired of hearing true love stories! Everything was just amazing!! Speaking of military, when I asked Michael what time his Reception started he said, it starts at 18:00 hours. I was like hu…. We got to shoot along side the VERY talented John Li from John Li Photography! I can’t wait to see the amazing shots he got! Hope you enjoy Julie and Michaels SDE!

Q. WHAT WAS THE STORY OF THE PROPOSAL?
A. He really screwed it up… but she said yes anyway. Guys, do not treat it like a sale meeting. That is all I’m saying.

Q. HOW DID YOU GUYS MEET? 
A. Early 2006, the Navy sent both of us to the same base in Kuwait during Operation Enduring Freedom: even in uniform she was the much beautiful woman I had ever seen.

Q. HOW LONG DID YOU DATE BEFORE YOU GOT ENGAGED AND HOW LONG WERE YOU ENGAGED FOR? 
A. Depends which one of us you ask; I started counting the day we arrived in Virginia. After spending nearly 7 month in the desert the first thing we wanted was sushi. She counts from February 18. The day I arrived in California. Either way it’s been about 3 years and were engaged a little over a year.

Q. WHY DID YOU CHOOSE TO HIRE A VIDEOGRAPHER?
A. Because nothing tells the story like moving pictures.

Q. WHAT IS THE BEST PART OF BEING A NEWLYWED?
A. The Honeymoon of course.

Q. WHAT PIECE OF ADVICE WOULD YOU TELL A COUPLE PLANNING THEIR WEDDING?
A. Hire the best for documenting your wedding and a great master of ceremony… the picture and video are forever and the MC will keep the event on schedule and fun.

U - The best video I have seen. It was unbelievable. At the time of the reception, we were able to watch the play outs of the morning leading up to the evening. It was incredible and you guys were great behind the scenes capturing the most precious moments of their lives. It’s unforgettable! 20 years, 40 years, etc they will be able to watch the video and still feel like it was only yesterday. We have been showing our customers the single day edit and have been advertising for you guys, telling them to hire Impressive Creations. The customers all loved it and were mesmerized by it.
