Ok. WOW! These guys are seriously the bomb! I mean, come on… Can you get any more cute or lovie-dovie as these guys? We shot this amazing e.Session in the streets of Santa Monica last year which was super fun but their wedding! OMG’osh! They ROCKED the Beverly Hill Hotel! (till 3am!) We even used a 25 foot Jib to make sure we nailed it!! We had the opportunity to shoot along side of  Viera Photographics as well. We also used their photos for the engagement photos used in their e.Session.

Oh yeah, I have to say Shideh’s event planning and Shirvan Design Haute Events & Florals design and decor was INSANE!!! Seriously Shideh, you and you team are amazing!

I do want to say thanks to Sayeh + Avasta for allowing us to be part of their special day. It was an honor to get to spend a wonderful evening with you both!!Love you guys!!

Lindsy Gladstone - This is the absolute best video I have ever seen! You have captured their personalities and made me feel like I know them. WOW! What a weekend!!! We had a blast rocking this Feature Film and Same Day Edit in San Diego a few months ago at the Hard Rock Hotel! Denise and Kris were sooo chill and laid back it didn’t even feel like we were working! We love our job! One of my personal favorite moments of the day was right at the beginning of their ceremony when Denise walked down the isle and met Kris at the Alter (and since we have a little microphone on the groom, in my headphones I heard Kris say this to Denise “Denise, I am going to be totally honest with you, I am no nervous and my palms are so sweaty right now! Q. WHAT IS THE BEST PART OF BEING A NEWLYWED?
A. Baby making

Q. HOW DID YOU GUYS MEET?
A. During our Senior year in high school, we met while working at Boudin’s Sourdough Bakery and Cafe

Q. HOW LONG DID YOU DATE BEFORE YOU GOT ENGAGED AND HOW LONG WERE YOU ENGAGED FOR?
A. We dated for 11 years and had a 1 year engagement.

Q. WHAT WAS THE STORY OF THE PROPOSAL?
A. On our way home from spending Halloween weekend in Vegas, Kris took me to the scene of one of my favorite movies, Fools Rush In. We stopped by Hoover Dam and enjoyed the views of the sunset over the dam. In Kris’ words “I felt like I waited long enough. The concrete cubicle we were in kept me from getting down on one knee but I had her in my arms which felt even more right. I asked her what her favorite part of the weekend was and i wasn’t surprised to hear that it was when she saw me try on my backless hercules costume dress. When she asked me about my favorite part, I didn’t hesitate to mention the chargers win, shooting up the desert and our halloween together. From inside my pocket I pulled out and showed her the ring. That’s when i said, “but my favorite part, was when i ask you to marry me. Will you marry me?” Her initial reaction looked like disbelief and for the second time that weekend I heard a Lansang ask, “Seriously?” to which I replied, “I love you, will you marry me?”

A. Tax Break!

Q. WHAT’S THE FUNNIEST THING ABOUT BEING MARRIED?
A. Dutch Ovens – not the kind that you cook with.

A. Kris getting iced on the dance floor.

A. The bride and groom’s reaction when they first see each other.

At 7:30am I was abruptly awoken by my kids telling they heard thunder, and it was raining out side.. My first thought was, OH NO!, Lisa and Lawrence. Would they get rained out? Would they have to move their wedding inside for the day? Well, as you can see below, it was far from a gloomy day for these two love birds.. In fact, just 30 minutes before their ceremony began, the sun broke through in all it’s glory and made for a spectacular Terranea Wedding! Leslie and the crew are always so accommodating over there! LOVE THE VENDOR MEALS! Jeannie Savage and her amazing team from Details Details made for an extremely smooth day! We also  had a great time rocking along side Brandon and his wife Kristen from Brandon Kidd photography, I’m sure they got a ton of great shots!

Q + A WITH ELLEN AND JOE

Q. IN A FEW WORDS, SHARE WITH FUTURE NEWLYWEDS SOME MARRIAGE WISDOM?
A. Laugh everyday. Don’t let a day go by without showing how much you love each other. Look back fondly on everything you’ve accomplished together.

Q. HOW DID YOU GUYS MEET?
A. Our mutual friend, Caroline Baro thought we’d be a great match. I contacted Ellen on Myspace (LOL, Facebook wasn’t quite popular yet). Three weeks later we went on our first date and saw each other every single day after that.

Q. HOW LONG DID YOU DATE BEFORE YOU GOT ENGAGED AND HOW LONG WERE YOU ENGAGED FOR?
A. We got engaged after exactly three years of dating and our engagement was one year, but we knew we were meant to be together after just a few months.

Q. WHAT WAS THE STORY OF THE PROPOSAL?
A. We celebrated our 3-year anniversary on a Caribbean Cruise. On November 18, 2009, we spent the day at St. Maarten. I was trying to find the perfect proposal spot, but coincidentally, we were near a nude beach. Killed the romance! After a long beautiful day on the island, I asked Ellen to be my wife at the top deck of the ship, in the middle of the ocean beneath a million stars.

Q. WHAT ARE SOME OF YOUR FAVORITE MEMORIES FROM YOUR WEDDING DAY?
A 1) Our kiss at the altar BEFORE we were pronounced husband and wife (thanks to our funny priest). 2) Our first dance, which was literally our first dance…EVER. 3) Our wedding night.:)
