We love Same Day Edits! Instant gratification! We had the extreme pleasure getting to work with another epic couple and one of the South Bay’s finest venues. Their Ceremony was held al the Legendary Wayfarer’s Chapel along the beautiful Palos Verdes coastline! It was a perfect day for a perfect wedding for a awesome and upbeat couple. It was cool to get to see Nino’s sister Abi, whom’s wedding we shot in Napa Valley last year! All in all another beautiful Palos Verdes wedding! Enjoy!
Q + A WITH AYLA AND NINO
Q. HOW DID YOU GUYS MEET?
A. In April 2006, I was on Myspace (when it was cool haha) browsing pictures of my friend’s friends. That’s where I saw Ayla for the first time. I was blown away by her beauty and just had to meet her. After many email exchanges, endless nights on the phone, and a whole lot of convincing (haha) we finally went out on our first date and the rest is history.
Q. WHAT WAS THE STORY OF THE PROPOSAL?
A. Ayla knows me very well, so she would have known immediately if I was about to propose. So I wanted to catch her off guard. She isn’t a morning person, so I decided to propose to her early in the morning right when she woke up. I came to her house, tied the engagement ring to a ribbon around Miso’s neck (our puppy), and had him wake her up with kisses. Ayla woke up and had no idea. She was totally surprised!
Q. WHAT’S YOUR FAVORITE THING ABOUT BEING MARRIED?
A. Just knowing that we’ve made such a huge commitment to one another.
Q. WHAT’S THE FUNNIEST THING ABOUT BEING MARRIED?
A. Hearing other people refer to the other as “your husband” or “your wife”.
Q. WHAT ARE SOME OF YOUR FAVORITE MEMORIES FROM YOUR WEDDING DAY?
A. Seeing all of our family and friends, old and new, together in one place to celebrate with us. We felt so much love from everyone!
Q. WHY DID YOU CHOOSE TO HIRE A VIDEOGRAPHER?
A. Pictures are wonderful, priceless. Video adds another dimension to the memories. You can relive the action, sound, and overall feeling again.
Q. WHAT PIECE OF ADVICE WOULD YOU TELL A COUPLE PLANNING THEIR WEDDING?
A. Savor every minute of the wedding and ceremony, because you will be having so much fun that it will be over in the blink of an eye. An awesome photographer and videographer can help capture every moment so that you can relive it all over again!
