Q. HOW DID YOU GUYS MEET?
A. We met while working on a horror movie.

Q. HOW LONG DID YOU DATE BEFORE YOU GOT ENGAGED AND HOW LONG WERE YOU ENGAGED FOR?
A. We dated for a long time almost 5 years!

Q. WHAT WAS THE STORY OF THE PROPOSAL?
A. Bill took Laura hiking in Malibu. He said he had a rock in his shoe and then surprised her with the real rock.

Q. WHAT’S YOUR FAVORITE THING ABOUT BEING MARRIED?
A. Waking up next to each other.

Q. WHAT ARE SOME OF YOUR FAVORITE MEMORIES FROM YOUR WEDDING DAY?
A. During the ceremony, we looked up and saw birds flying over the chuppah. When we were lifted on the chairs during the hava nagilah. Coming out and dancing our first dance as husband and wife.

Q. WHY DID YOU CHOOSE TO HIRE A VIDEOGRAPHER?
A. We wanted to be able to remember our wedding. It goes by so fast!

Q. WHAT IS ONE THING YOU’D TELL A COUPLE TO MAKE SURE THEY CAPTURE ON VIDEO?
A. The first kiss!

Q. WHAT ONE DETAIL ARE YOU GLAD THE VIDEOGRAPHER CAPTURED?
A. Our first kiss because we didn’t know that we kissed until we saw the video!

Q. WHAT IS THE BEST PART OF BEING A NEWLYWED?
A. Just being together!

Q. WHAT PIECE OF ADVICE WOULD YOU TELL A COUPLE PLANNING THEIR WEDDING?
A. Plan out all the details before. The day is so hectic that you won’t be able to plan anything.

Q. WHAT WAS THE HARDEST PART ABOUT PLANNING A WEDDING?
A. All the details especially the seating chart.

Q. IN A FEW WORDS, SHARE WITH FUTURE NEWLYWEDS SOME MARRIAGE WISDOM?
A. Don’t sweat the small stuff.

Thuy and Michael! Seriously, these guys ROCK super hard! It has been such a pleasure working with this amazing couple! I could go on and on, but what really stands out to me most is they truly have an amazing story of love and commitment! I mean, it’s not every day you meet a couple that has been together for 15 years and yet on their wedding day they are still crying over each other, especially the Groom! Having the pleasure to work with couples like this is why I love my job!!

Q + A WITH THUY AND MICHAEL

Q. HOW DID YOU GUYS MEET?
A. We met in the 7th grade.

Q. HOW LONG DID YOU DATE BEFORE YOU GOT ENGAGED AND HOW LONG WERE YOU ENGAGED FOR?
A. We dated for 13 years before getting engaged. We were engaged for 2 years before getting married.

Q. WHAT WAS THE STORY OF THE PROPOSAL?
A. Michael took me to stay at the St. Regis Monarch Beach Resort in Dana Point for 4 days during Memorial Weekend in 2008. He loves to surprise me with weekend getaways, so I didn’t think this trip was anything different than him being his romantic self. He then took me on a gondola ride in Newport Beach and as soon as the sun set, he got down on one knee inside the gondola and asked me to marry him. The first words out of my mouth were “Are you f***** kidding me?” Being together for this long we never kept anything from each other. It completely threw me off because I was amazed at how well he pulled this off and kept it from every single person we knew. Neither one of our families knew of his proposal either. Props to Michael!

Q. WHAT’S YOUR FAVORITE THING ABOUT BEING MARRIED?
A. Having him tell me every morning that he is so happy to have me as his wife.

Q. WHAT’S THE FUNNIEST THING ABOUT BEING MARRIED?
A. We keep saying….”Wow, I can’t believe we’re finally married!”

Q. WHAT ARE SOME OF YOUR FAVORITE MEMORIES FROM YOUR WEDDING DAY?
A. My MOST favorite moment of the day was when I saw Michael when I walked down the aisle. His favorite moments are the ceremony, the speeches, and the SDE.

Q. WHY DID YOU CHOOSE TO HIRE A VIDEOGRAPHER?
A. Exactly why we chose Impressive Creations. He was able to capture the real moment in time.

Q. WHAT IS ONE THING YOU’D TELL A COUPLE TO MAKE SURE THEY CAPTURE ON VIDEO?
A. The bride and groom’s reaction when they first see each other.

Q. WHAT ONE DETAIL ARE YOU GLAD THE VIDEOGRAPHER CAPTURED?
A. Michael’s reaction when he first saw me. Seeing my husband emotional was SO unbelievably beautiful!

Q. WHAT IS THE BEST PART OF BEING A NEWLYWED?
A. Being able to relax and enjoy quality time with just him.

Q. IN A FEW WORDS, SHARE WITH FUTURE NEWLYWEDS SOME MARRIAGE WISDOM?
A. Don’t let anyone tell you how to get married or what you need to do. In the end, it’s all about the bride and groom and you should do whatever it takes to make each other happy.

He did an exceptional job capturing the wonderful moments of my little sister’s wedding. It seems as though it came straight out of a movie. I could only wish to have something like this done when I get married. The wedding was beauiful and Brian did a great job.

Michael and Thuy, you put so much effort into the planning in order to make it absolutely perfect, and it all came together flawlessly. Everyone there had the best time. It was far and away the most fabulous wedding I have attended in many years. Never have either of you looked more lovely and happy! Thank you for including me.

Words can’t simply describe how enchanting and romantic the evening was, but this SDE capture every mood, spirit and all the love in the place.
