RAJ AND ANITA’S FEATURE FILM
Q + A WITH RAJ AND ANITA
Q. HOW DID YOU GUYS MEET?
A. We were both living in St. Louis, MO completing training in our specialties and we kept running into each other at the same places. Once we exchanged phone numbers and had our first date we were inseparable.
Q. HOW LONG DID YOU DATE BEFORE YOU GOT ENGAGED AND HOW LONG WERE YOU ENGAGED FOR?
A. We dated for a little less than two years before we got engaged and we were engaged for a little less than a year.
Q. WHAT WAS THE STORY OF YOUR PROPOSAL?
A. When Raj was living in Chicago, IL and I was still in St. Louis, MO he told me he was coming for my graduation weekend Friday – Sunday. I was moving out of St. Louis that weekend and he asked me to drop off the keys to his old place with his Realtor before I left. He had me meet her on Thursday evening at his old place (where we had our first date). When I opened the door he was there. He said he just wanted to surprise me because it was such a big weekend. He wanted to give me my gift and he handed me a bright polka dotted bag. I anxiously opened the bagful of gifts. When I got to the bottom of the bag the last gift was a traveling jewelry case. He said it was for me to travel with when I came to visit him after the move. I started opening the drawers of the jewelry box hoping to find something – trying to be casual about it, of course. I opened one of the drawers of the box – nothing. I tried another drawer – nothing. I felt silly for looking and gave up opening the drawers and thanked Raj for the graduation gifts. Then, he told me I missed a drawer – I opened the last one, he tipped the box forward and a ring came down.
Q. WHAT’S YOUR FAVORITE THING ABOUT BEING MARRIED?
A. Starting and ending every day together.
Q. WHAT’S YOUR FUNNIEST THING ABOUT BEING MARRIED?

Q. WHAT ARE SOME OF YOUR FAVORITE MEMORIES FROM YOUR WEDDING DAY?
A. Our first-look before our ceremony; the wedding ceremony itself; immediately after the ceremony when we had just 5 minutes to take in that we were married; our first dance together; taking photos in the photo booth; getting ready together on our reception night; dancing like our lives depended on it
Q. WHY DID YOU CHOOSE TO HIRE A VIDEOGRAPHER?
A. To remember the most important day of our lives.
Q. WHAT IS ONE THING YOU’D TELL A COUPLE TO MAKE SURE THEY CAPTURE ON VIDEO?

A. Candid moments we didn’t remember – on our wedding night when we snuck out of the party for some photos together.
Q. WHAT IS THE BEST PART OF BEING A NEWLYWED?
A. Learning new things about each other – even after you thought you knew it all.
