Q. HOW DID YOU GUYS MEET?
A. Our friend Angie introduced us to each other my junior year and his senior year of high school.

Q. HOW LONG DID YOU DATE BEFORE YOU GOT ENGAGED AND HOW LONG WERE YOU ENGAGED FOR?
A. We were dating for 9 Years, 2 Months, and 7 Days before he finally popped the question! We were engaged for 9 months before our wedding day.

Q. WHAT WAS THE STORY OF YOUR PROPOSAL?
A. The girls decided to have a girls’ day out and we were actually heading out to have a late lunch and have fun taking pictures. They took me to Descanso Garden where he popped out of the bushes and surprised me! All I was thinking was…”why is he crashing my date with the girls?!” He then took my hand and we started following the trail to a beautiful gazebo and that’s when he turned me around and I saw a big banner that said “WILL YOU MARRY ME?” and when I looked back to the man of my dreams, he was already down on his knees with the ring of my dreams!

Q. WHAT’S YOUR FAVORITE THING ABOUT BEING MARRIED?
A. Being to call each other husband and wife “officially.”

Q. WHAT’S YOUR FUNNIEST THING ABOUT BEING MARRIED?
A. That this is the new way of life: Ten Funny Things About Marriage 1. The woman always makes the rules 2. These rules are subject to change without notice 3. No man can possibly know all the rules 4. The woman is never wrong 5. If it appears the woman is wrong, it is because of a flagrant misunderstanding caused by something the man did or said 6. The man must apologize immediately for causing the misunderstanding 7. The woman can change her mind at any time 8. The man must never change his mind without the proper consent of the woman 9. The man must read the mind of the woman at all times 10. At all times, what is important is what the woman meant, not what she said.

Q. WHAT ARE SOME OF YOUR FAVORITE MEMORIES FROM YOUR WEDDING DAY?
A. Naomi, our AMAZING wedding coordinator from d.n.t Events, was very worried that we weren’t eating because we were too busy being social butterflies. She literally cut up my dinner and told me to open up and fed me like I was a royal princess! I was so giddy because I was being pampered and looked over to Stephan to see that John, Stephan’s best man, was also cutting up Stephan’s dinner for him!

Q. WHY DID YOU CHOOSE TO HIRE A VIDEOGRAPHER?
A. To make sure we capture all the amazing details on our wedding day so that we can re-live our special day any day!!

Q. WHAT IS ONE THING YOU’D TELL A COUPLE TO MAKE SURE THEY CAPTURE ON VIDEO?
A. ? EVERYTHING! Hahahaha…just let Brian work his magic and don’t doubt his words of wisdom

Q. WHAT ONE DETAIL ARE YOU GLAD THE VIDEOGRAPHER CAPTURED?
A. I loved that Impressive Creations caught our First Look. When Stephan first saw me in my wedding dress, he “fell” even more in love with me!!

Q. WHAT IS THE BEST PART OF BEING A NEWLYWED?
A. Finally setting our plans in motion that we have discussed about for so long – how exciting to realize your dreams are coming true with your dream man!

Q. WHAT PIECE OF ADVICE WOULD YOU TELL A COUPLE PLANNING THEIR WEDDING?
A. Christie’s advice: Get a wedding coordinator ASAP!! Stephan’s advice: Do a thorough research on all your vendors…Groupon or Living Social isn’t always the best!

Q. WHAT WAS THE HARDEST PART ABOUT PLANNING A WEDDING?
A. All the details that come with planning a wedding and trying to personalize the wedding on a budget…LOL

A. Stephan’s wisdom: Don’t forget to put the toilet seat back down. Christie’s wisdom: Always leave the line of communication open!
